Country Pleasures Soaps
are unique from all other soaps. They will deep clean, soften,
condition and feed your skin nutrients, resulting in soft, glowing skin.
Most customers say that they no longer have a need for lotions and
creams after using the soap.
We make our handmade soap and bath products completely from scratch, combining raw
ingredients like tropical oils, fresh milk, herbs and exotic vegetable
butters in our own original recipes. Each batch is handmade,
hand poured, with each resulting block cut into bars and
packaged by hand. The small differences from batch to batch and bar to
bar to confirm the handmade charm of our craft.
To give you a little background on how I arrived at making soaps.......I have always been drawn to nature and natural things in general, and if I didn't know how to do something....I learned. I learned to make soap over 15 years ago while involved in a herbal study course, and wanted to make a soap that reflected what I believed a soap should be....... natural, cleanse without drying, moisturize the skin without clogging pores, look and smell beautiful. For many years now I have practiced
herbal medicine for myself, my family and animals, I also enjoy and practice cooking and baking from scratch, preserving, canning, organic heirloom gardening,
organic poultry, art, crafts, sewing, cake decorating, organic grass fed
dairy, organic beekeeping and a little pioneer living. *I still use my
wood stove in my soap barn (winter) to melt the oils and butters
that produce our soaps. I strive to put this knowledge together in our soaps and other products we have to offer.
